Integrated Management System Policy

IMS POLICY STATEMENT 

Tom White Waste Limited is a commercial waste management company owned by the immediate parent company Coventry Municipal Holdings Limited and the ultimate parent organisation Coventry City Council. Tom White Waste Limited offer waste management solutions to industry and the public. We are committed to the ongoing delivery of high-quality products and services in a safe, secure, and responsible manner with minimum impact on the environment. In order to achieve this, we have introduced an Integrated Management System (IMS) that supports our values and complies with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 (SSIP).  

The objectives of the IMS are:

1. To provide a framework to support the coordinated management and review of objectives set out to support our Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety in a robust and efficient manner.

2. To improve the quality of our products and services by ensuring our processes are suitable, follow industry best practice and continually enhance our approach.

3. To undertake a systematic approach to environmental management in order to contribute to the protection, including prevention of pollution, and enhancement of the environment by setting and monitoring appropriate environmental objectives and targets.

4. To develop a health and safety management system that provides safe and healthy working conditions, prevents work-related injuries and illnesses, eliminates hazards, reduces health and safety risks, and involves consultation and participation with employees. 

Tom White Waste is fully committed to achieving these objectives, while adhering to all applicable legislation, regulations, and compliance obligations, with the Senior Leadership Team responsible for the continual improvement of the IMS, by clearly identifying, controlling, monitoring, and measuring the potential risk to our business.

We shall do this by ensuring that this Policy is understood by all staff and made freely available to all interested stakeholders.
