We’re very pleased to announce two new additions to our roster of trained material handler operators. In an industry that is typically dominated by men, Iwona and Natalia have given the guys some competition, by completing further training and development as pickers within the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), and passing with flying colours.
Material handlers are an important component of our industry, and are responsible for handling and moving merchandise around the premises. Material handler duties also include managing the shipping and receiving of materials within a facility.
Having been trained to organise, understand inventory and quality control and much more, the girls thrived during their training process. As excellent pickers within the MRF, and now trained material handler operators, Iwona and Natalia are responsible for recovering materials to put back into products within the manufacturing industry. Helping us ensure better waste management for you, your community and the planet.
At Tom White we put our people first by providing a diverse and nurturing work culture and investing in our people’s growth and development. We are looking forward to seeing the new operators in action within our facility.
